| One-of-a-kind textile designs by Nona Hatay |
| |
Local artist Nona Hatay will premiere her new fashion line, Art to Wear, at the Canal Gallery this May. Art to Wear clothes are created from Nona's Natural Illusions photo-art. This Spring fashion show will include her newest one-of-a-kind designs.
A multimedia presentation at the opening includes an exhibit of Natural Illusion Art and related art objects, film viewing, and the Exploring Creativity Workshop, an interactive art project space for children and adults.
The exhibit will be on display from Saturday through Monday 29 May, from noon to 6pm.
After the show, the work will be exhibited in New York City at the top ART to WEAR Gallery, Julie: Artisans' Gallery, Madison Avenue and 66th Street, where there are currently several pieces on display.
